There are some photographers that do not capture people asking for money in the streets, inconspicuous figures surrounding the whole mass of this rushing, quickness that is around us. Everywhere.
I have decided to portray them as they are based on sidewalks, wrapped by their blankets, feeding their animals, holding their cups. They exist. They are real and are stationed just there, by your way. Sometimes, you trip over them, even though you try really hard not to stare at them. I have seen them looking everywhere for a sight, a smile, a little proof of humanity through which they may get their coin, their pinch of kindness.
There is a whole world of homeless down there. Here, they are.
